Album Of The Day: Rhythms Of Remembrance by apt.core

Released 25 years ago this coming Friday, this is the first album from apt.core, an electronic music project by instrumentalist and producer Will Hunt. It's 43 minutes of dance music with mostly spoken lyrics over the music, sometimes from Christian texts and sometimes meditations on the Christian religion. One of the few songs with an actual melody is a cover of U2's "40" with a driving beat and guest vocals by Ginny Owens. It might work as a quiet, chill thing to play in the background for reflection, but I guess I usually play it loud and listen to the eastern music sounds and other musical motifs in these songs. It's not a favorite album of mine, but I do find it somewhat interesting and a fun listen on occasion.
